Our Story
World Famous Dr. BBQ has been serving delicious barbeque since 1977. The Pit Master started his first barbeque restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee. After traveling around the country participating in different barbeque cooking contest, Dr. BBQ stepped on the national scene in 2013 and proclaimed the Underground Barbeque Challenge viewed on the Travel Channel. Taking his role seriously as the "World's Famous Dr. Barbeque," the Pit Master says, "if you got a pain that you can't explain, if you got an ache that won't wait, if you got a feeling that's killing, you need to come and see Dr. Barbeque for some nutritional healing."
